Heavy facade stones on high-rise buildings in Baku have become a hazard. In recent years, falling stones have damaged cars and property, even causing death.
In Nasimi district, stones fell on cars at night. A resident said: "Once a woman was hit and injured. This building is dangerous."
The Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that facade safety is approved during design, but this issue is not under their jurisdiction.
