Demand for frozen imported chicken has increased in Baku recently.

According to Oxu.Az citing Khazar TV, sellers attribute the rise to prices being significantly lower than local products.

The price gap between imported and local chicken is sharp, making restaurants and catering businesses the main buyers.

The products are mainly imported from Ukraine and Belarus. Market prices range from 4 to 5 manats, and they carry halal certification.
