The Ministry of Emergency Situations (EM) has issued a warning to the public regarding the expected windy and rainy weather in some areas.
It is forecasted that until noon tomorrow, there will be intermittent strong winds, intense rainfall in some places, short-term floods in some mountain rivers, and lightning.
During strong winds, it is recommended to stay away from light structures, temporary buildings, buildings, and billboards, and not to stand under power poles, wires, or tall trees.
Fire safety rules must be strictly followed in windy weather. Also, swimming in the sea during strong winds is dangerous. Small vessel users should note that going to sea under such weather conditions is prohibited.
To protect against floods and flash floods caused by intense rainfall, it is recommended to stay away from hazardous areas and, if faced with danger, immediately climb to a nearby high ground.
To protect against lightning, disconnect electrical devices from the network, avoid using phones, stay away from power lines, lightning rods, gutters, and antennas when outdoors, do not take shelter under tall trees, choose a lower spot, and if in a car, stop driving, roll up the windows, and wait for the lightning to stop.
