The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) conducted a drill at a multi-story residential building owned by “Shalala” Housing Construction Cooperative in Baku’s Narimanov district.
The drill assessed the access of fire engines to the building and water reservoir.
It was found that irregular parking prevented fire vehicles from approaching unhindered.
Additionally, the building lacked initial firefighting equipment, internal fire hoses were incomplete, and the automatic alarm system was not fully installed.
Responsible persons were instructed to eliminate the flaws, and residents were educated on fire safety.
