The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has issued a warning to the public regarding unstable weather conditions in some regions.

According to the ministry, rainy weather is currently observed in certain areas, and some mountain rivers are flooding. Unstable, rainy and windy weather is expected to continue in the coming days.

MES reminds the following safety rules:

To protect against floods and mudflows: stay away from flood-prone areas; if danger arises, immediately move to higher ground.

To protect against lightning: unplug electrical devices, avoid using phones (landline, mobile, payphone), stay away from power lines, lightning rods, gutters and antennas, do not take shelter under tall trees, choose a lower place, and if in a vehicle, stop and roll up windows until the storm passes.

To protect against strong winds: stay away from lightweight structures, temporary buildings, buildings and billboards, do not stand under power poles or high trees.

Additionally, due to the difficulty of extinguishing fires in strong winds, fire safety rules must be strictly observed. Small vessel users should note that it is prohibited to go to sea in such weather.

Remember: Indifference to rules is a threat to our lives! In case of danger, call 112.
