As temperatures rise, many people flock to water bodies for recreation. Despite awareness campaigns by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, failure to follow safety rules leads to tragic consequences.
According to Oxu.Az, the Ministry's Press Service issued a statement urging the public to strictly adhere to safety rules at water bodies, including beaches.
Prohibited actions include:
- swimming in unauthorized areas, such as canals and rivers;
- swimming beyond marked swimming zone boundaries;
- entering the sea in windy weather;
- staying overnight on the beach;
- being on the beach while intoxicated;
- engaging in rough behavior in the water;
- entering the beach with boats or small vessels other than rescue equipment.
Remember:
- do not leave children unattended on the beach;
- follow warning signs and lifeguards' instructions;
- avoid prolonged exposure to the scorching sun and entering water after dark.
Do not forget: Negligence of rules endangers your life! In case of danger, call 112.
