The vice-rector for international relations of Sumgait State University (SDU), Konul Abasli, has been dismissed from her post.
Oxu.Az reports, citing "Yeni Sabah", that Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev signed the relevant order.
Abasli has been working as an advisor to the rector of ADA University for some time. She is responsible for education management.
It is noted that Abasli earned a bachelor's degree in primary education pedagogy and methodology from Baku Slavic University (2003-2007) and a master's degree in pedagogy theory and history (2007-2009), both with honors.
Since 2019, she has taught at various higher education institutions at bachelor and master levels and supervised master's theses. In 2021-2022, she worked as a leading researcher and head of the strategic research department at the Institute of Education.
