In modern times, effective communication and self-presentation are key to success. Speaking confidently in front of an audience, clearly expressing thoughts, and building a personal brand are crucial for both professional and personal growth.
Oxu.Az interviewed Sayavush Huseynli, founder and trainer of "StageLab" Public Speaking Skills Training. He shared insights on the art of public speaking, personal branding, audience interaction, and what makes his program unique.
Huseynli explains that "StageLab" is not just a course but a development platform. He has worked with over 200 young performers and now trains professionals from various fields. The main goal is to fix the inner state of mind and manage fear and anxiety.
Public speaking rests on three pillars: mental state, technical skills (parasitic words, body language), and delivery (storytelling). All are interconnected, and without psychological readiness, fluent speech is useless.
The expert emphasizes that fear stems from stranger's gaze and being the center of attention. It cannot be eliminated but can be managed. The only way is practice: stepping onto the stage, speaking, and testing oneself in real conditions.
"StageLab" differs by taking a comprehensive approach. First, it works on inner energy and emotions, then teaches technical details. Participants gain experience both on stage and in front of the camera, analyzing their performance through real recordings.
For personal branding, Huseynli stresses media presence and documentation. He highlights updating Wikipedia pages, giving interviews, and documenting projects to build an expert image.
By the end of the training, participants gain psychological readiness, fluent speech, and storytelling skills. They learn to handle criticism and avoid being affected by negative reviews.
