Jalal Ahmadov, a resident of Uchtepe village in Jalilabad, claims he paid 74,600 manats to Azertoxum LLC but received only 32,250 manats worth of seeds.
He says the remaining 42,350 manats worth of seeds have not been delivered. According to Ahmadov, seeds were supposed to be delivered within 45 days but arrived 60 days late, disrupting spring planting.
Ahmadov, who has been growing carrots for five-six years with state subsidies and cold storage facilities, faced serious losses this year. The issue was resolved after Baku TV's coverage.
