Erkin Rahimov has been appointed as the director of the Republican Pediatric Center, marking a high position at TABIB.
According to Oxu.Az, the Medical Territorial Units Management Union (TABIB) announced the appointment.
Rahimov studied at Azerbaijan Medical University from 2001-2003 and continued at Istanbul University's Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine from 2003-2007. He specialized in child health from 2008-2012 at the same university.
From 2012-2014, he served as head of the Neonatology department at "Istanbul Memorial Hizmet" Hospital. Since 2019, he has been an assistant at the Pediatrics Department of Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev.
Since 2014, he has been the head of the Pediatrics Department at Baku Medical Plaza. He is also vice-chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Pediatric Society and a member of the Board of the Public Union for Assistance to Patients with Cystic Fibrosis.
Rahimov is also an expert in pediatrics at the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan.
