Ex-official sued over unpaid utility bills

Tarana Guliyeva, former deputy prime minister of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, sparked a scandal in her apartment building.

According to reports, she refused to pay her utility bills, leading to a quarrel with the building's superintendent.

The superintendent filed a complaint, and police were called. Guliyeva was charged under Article 510 (petty hooliganism) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

The 51-year-old politician served from 2000 to 2015 and is the daughter of renowned musician Arif Guliyev.
