According to the Labor Code, some employees are entitled to extra leave beyond the main leave, based on working conditions, seniority, and family status.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has released information on this.
Employees working in hazardous or heavy conditions receive at least 6 calendar days of extra leave.
Seniority-based extra leave: 5-10 years gives 2 days, 10-15 years gives 4 days, over 15 years gives 6 days.
Women with two children under 14 get 2 extra days; those with three or more children, or a disabled child, get 5 days.
Single fathers and adoptive parents also have this right.
