Face recognition payment expands on railways

Azerbaijan Railways expands face recognition payment system. SIMA Pay makes train travel more convenient.

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC announced that the "SIMA Pay" face recognition payment system will be gradually implemented at all stations on the Absheron circular route.

Currently active at Baku and Sumgait railway stations and the Koroglu stop, the system will later cover the entire railway network of the country.

Digitalization simplifies travel for passengers and reshapes urban mobility.
