Residents of a dilapidated two-story building at 12th Maden, 43, Ramana settlement, Sabunchu district, Baku, have been waiting for relocation for 9 months.
Although 9 families have been moved, the remaining 3 families still live in fear in the over-100-year-old building.
Residents agreed to the compensation amount despite thinking it is low, but the relocation process and payments have stalled for unknown reasons.
The State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture stated that compensation payments are being made in stages. Some residents have received payments, and the rest will be paid soon.
