Shahram Mehdizadehsaraj, an Iranian citizen, contacted Baku TV's hotline, claiming that he separated from his Azerbaijani wife four years after marriage.
By court decision, the minor children were placed under the mother's care. Despite paying alimony, the father alleges that his ex-wife's lifestyle endangers the children's future and safety.
"My daughters are 14 and 9, and my son is with them. The children wrote to me that they are hungry and thirsty. I believe the money I send is spent on drugs," the complainant stated.
He has filed a complaint with law enforcement and claims to have evidence. The court sentenced the ex-wife to 15 days of administrative detention.
Now, the Iranian citizen must wait for the final court decision, which will be crucial for the children's future and safety.
