The Ministry of Finance has abolished district and city finance departments as part of structural reforms. A new Local Revenue and Expenditure Finance Department has been established.
The functions of the abolished departments have been transferred to the new body. The personnel base has also been moved to the new department.
The goal is to increase efficiency in financial management, speed up decision-making, and ensure a unified approach.
