A fire broke out at a car repair shop in Baku.
According to Oxu.Az, a video of the incident was shared on social media.
It was noted that the fire occurred in the Nizami district.
In response to Oxu.Az's inquiry, the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed the fact.
It was reported that a call was received at the "112" hotline about a fire at a car repair shop located on M. Aliyev Street, Nizami district, Baku.
"In connection with the information, the forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately involved. Thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the fire that started in the oil change section of the car repair shop, consisting of seven boxes built under one roof with a total area of 175 sq.m., was extinguished in a short time without spreading to other areas. As a result of the fire, the combustible structures and tires stored on the roof of two boxes burned over an area of 50 sq.m. The main part of the car repair shop was protected from the fire," the statement said.
