The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received a report about a fire in the area known as Qurd dərəsi in Sumgayit city.
According to MES, the forces of the Sumgayit City Fire Protection Department of the State Fire Protection Service were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the fire that broke out in an auxiliary building on the backyard of a private residential house with a total area of 70 square meters was extinguished in a short time, preventing its spread to the adjacent house and facility.
As a result of the fire, the auxiliary building burned down, while the private house and the facility were protected from fire. No injuries were reported.
