The first group of Azerbaijani pilgrims has departed for the Hajj pilgrimage.

According to Oxu.Az citing Report, 180 pilgrims left from Heydar Aliyev Airport for Hajj.

A quota of 1,150 places has been allocated for Azerbaijani pilgrims for the Hajj pilgrimage.

This year, the pilgrimage package price is set at 6,100 USD per person.

Note that Kurban Bayram (Eid al-Adha) will be celebrated in Azerbaijan on May 27-28.
