Sona Salmanova, former deputy chair of the Constitutional Court, along with six other former judges, have applied to become lawyers.

According to Oxu.Az, citing "Report," this was announced during an expanded meeting of the Bar Association's Presidium and the oath-taking ceremony for lawyer candidates.

The candidates include former judges Mirza Nasib Tagizada, Fuzuli Novruzali Panahov, Novruz Agakarim Karimov, Javid Ibadulla Huseynov, Anar Boyukkishi Sadigov, and Coşqun Shamil Abdullayev.

It is noted that Novruz Agakarim Karimov worked as an investigator and senior investigator in the former National Security Ministry from 1989 to 2008 and later served as a judge for serious crimes in Azerbaijani courts.
