Former MP Hacibaba Azimov dies

Former MP and national freedom movement activist Hacibaba Azimov has passed away.

He was a doctor of history, professor, and founder of Lankaran State University, serving as its first rector.

Born in Lankaran in 1938, a farewell ceremony is taking place at Tazapir Mosque in Baku, with burial planned at Yasamal Cemetery.
