Four different events will be held for the first time at WUF13 in Baku.

According to Oxu.Az citing Report, this was stated by Emin Huseynzade, communications manager of the WUF13 Azerbaijan Operating Company.

According to him, the first is a Summit of Presidents: "Heads of state will gather at this event to discuss important urban development issues. The second is related to the New Urban Agenda. Furthermore, two events will be dedicated to the use of technology in urban development."

Huseynzade noted that for these reasons, WUF13 differs from previous WUF events.

It should be noted that WUF13 will be held in Baku from May 17-22. The forum is organized in close cooperation with the UN-Habitat program and aims to exchange international experience in sustainable urban development, smart cities, and innovative urban solutions.
