Promising high salaries, education and visa support, scammers have targeted Azerbaijanis through a social media account called "German Club."
Sanan Mustafazade, who contacted Baku TV, says he paid 3,600 AZN for a job and education in Germany, but the promised services were not provided.
He was initially offered a three-year vocational training in bakery and confectionery, but the contract later listed "butcher" as the specialty. The complainant also claims they were threatened.
