Galib Abdullayev, head of department at the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA), said at a briefing that awareness campaigns have yielded effective results.
According to him, preparations for Eid al-Adha have been completed. 130 points for animal slaughter and sale have been established.
Of these, 60 points will offer both slaughter and sale, 31 points will only slaughter, and 27 points will only sell.
Approximately 10,000 small cattle will be slaughtered daily. Conditions will be created for the sale of a total of 23,000 animals.
