Gas pipeline damaged during excavation in Lankaran, cutting off supply to 4 settlements. Repair work underway.

A gas pipeline was damaged during excavation work on M. Ibayev Street in Liman city, Lankaran district.

The incident occurred around 10 AM. A medium-pressure pipeline with a diameter of 225 mm started leaking gas.

The Lankaran Regional Gas Operation Department temporarily suspended gas supply to Liman, Narimanabad, Baligchilar, and Uzumchuluk settlements.

Gas supply will be restored gradually after repair work is completed.
