Speaking at the "UN 2026 Water Conference: Roadmap for Urban Housing" event, he presented Germany's new initiative, the "Urban Water Catalyst Initiative".
This initiative aims to make public utilities economically sustainable and attract private investments to expand water access and improve service quality.
Herold emphasized the importance of forums in addressing global challenges through strengthened cooperation.
