A heavy traffic accident occurred on the Muganli-Ismayilli road.

According to information received by Oxu.Az's hotline, a truck crashed into concrete barriers on the roadside. The vehicle was rendered unusable.

The Main State Traffic Police Department confirmed the incident. The accident happened around 9 a.m. today at the 8th km of the Muganli-Ismayilli road, heading towards Shamakhi.

"The driver of a Mitsubishi truck, Muhammad Mubariz oglu Vahidli, lost control. The driver was injured and is currently undergoing surgery. No fatalities. An investigation is underway," the statement said.
