Heydar Aliyev International Airport will operate in an enhanced mode from May 15-25 due to the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.
According to Oxu.Az, the airport has implemented additional coordination mechanisms for operations, passenger services, and security to handle the influx of international delegations.
The goal is to ensure comfortable, safe, and uninterrupted movement for participants.
During WUF13, the airport is integrated into a special transport system. Participants can use seamless transport between the airport, main transport hubs, accommodation, and the event venue.
WUF13 Airport Shuttle Buses started operating on May 12 and will run 24/7 until May 24. On May 25, buses will operate until 18:00.

Additionally, Airport Express (H1 line) continues 24/7 from 28 May and Koroglu metro stations to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Passengers are advised to arrive at least 2-3 hours before departure. Online check-in is recommended.
