IDEA Public Union organized a traditional clean-up campaign on the banks of the Kura River and its confluence with the Caspian Sea.
Volunteers, equipped with sanitary gear and special boats, cleaned the river and shores from household waste and illegal fishing nets.
About one ton of waste was collected and delivered to the Neftchala landfill.
The increasing amount of waste negatively affects the ecological situation of the Kura River and the Caspian Sea. Keeping the area clean is crucial for preserving bioresources and ecological balance.
