Residents of a 12-story building in central Baku claim illegal construction is underway on the rooftop. One resident has filed a complaint.
The complainant alleges that 'Monolit MTK' illegally sold the attic and technical area of four buildings for new apartment construction. Work has been ongoing for over five months.
According to the complaint, illegal gas, water, sewage, and electricity lines have been connected. Construction has stopped in three buildings, but continues in one.
While the company claims the construction is legal, it refuses to provide documents. The Ministry of Emergency Situations investigated and sent a letter regarding the illegal work.
