For the first time in Azerbaijan, a pilot project will be launched to create industrial forests.
On 100 hectares, fast-growing trees like Paulownia will be planted.
The goal is to develop a new forestry model and accelerate forest restoration.
The minister noted that industrial forests are not yet present in Azerbaijan but are widely used globally.
Future steps will depend on the pilot project results.
