Japan, Korea get visa-free to Azerbaijan

Japan and South Korea citizens can travel visa-free to Azerbaijan from July 1, 2026. Tourism stays up to 30 days.

Citizens of Japan and South Korea can now enter Azerbaijan without a visa. The policy takes effect on July 1, 2026, and lasts for one year.

The State Migration Service announced that tourists can stay up to 30 days per visit and enter up to three times.

For other purposes, standard visa rules apply. Those staying over 15 days must register.
