The construction of the road from Academic Hasan Aliyev Street to Koroglu metro station, planned to open in 2027, appears to have stalled in recent months.

Launched in 2025, the project involved demolishing several structures, including Keshla Market. However, no machinery or workers are visible at the site now.

Anar Najafli, head of the press service of the State Agency for Automobile Roads (SADA), stated that work is proceeding in stages: "Currently, work is ongoing from Rovshan Aliyev and Alasgar Gayibov streets towards Fatali Khan Khoyski Street. Works in other areas are planned according to the schedule."

The road will be 3,896 meters long with six lanes, each 3.5 meters wide. The project also includes four tunnels and three underground pedestrian crossings.
