One of the roads in Khirdalan has become impassable, causing complaints from drivers. The road on Hasan Aliyev Street in the Balaca Kruq area has been in a deplorable condition for months.
During rains, water accumulates, and large potholes become invisible. Cars and buses have fallen into these holes, suffering serious damage. There is no alternative road, leaving drivers with no choice.
The Khirdalan city administrative district representative office stated that repairs were carried out earlier this year, but due to heavy rains, groundwater accumulated, washing away the road surface. They have informed the relevant authority, and repairs will begin soon.
Additionally, according to a presidential decree, the construction of the Pirshagi-Novkhani-Khirdalan-M4 highway is ongoing, which includes Hasan Aliyev Street. The new road will have 6 lanes, a length of 28 km, and a width of 22.5 m. The project is expected to be completed by 2026-2027. Until then, current repairs will be carried out.
