King Mswati III of Eswatini called Baku a unique city that successfully combines rich historical heritage, innovation and progress.
Oxu.Az reports that the king made these remarks at the Leaders Summit held within the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum.
Thanking official Baku for hospitality and high-level organization, the king emphasized that housing is not just concrete and steel, but also human dignity, security, stability and hope.
The king also shared his country's experience: "The Eswatini government is implementing extensive programs for affordable housing, quality infrastructure and environmental sustainability. The 'Strategy 2030' program, launched in 2025, is aligned with the New Urban Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals".
