Heavy rains in recent days have caused the water level in the Kur River to rise. Coastal villages are being affected by this situation.

According to Oxu.Az citing Xezer TV, groundwater is seeping into yards and gardens. In Pambıqkənd village of Salyan district, some houses have experienced such damage.

Residents report that groundwater has rendered their gardens and vegetable plots unusable. The situation is causing serious concern.

The Garachala administrative office stated that the district emergency commission has been informed. After inspecting the area, necessary measures will be taken.
