The area of land cleared of mines in Khankendi, Agdara, and Khojaly administrative territories has been announced.
According to Oxu.Az, the information was provided by Elchin Yusubov, special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi city, Agdara and Khojaly districts, during a speech at an event in the Azerbaijan pavilion within WUF13 titled "Post-conflict urban planning: Restoring destroyed identity and rebuilding an integrated future."
He stated that in Khankendi 1,456 hectares, in Agdara 10,359 hectares, and in Khojaly 9,874 hectares have been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance (UXO).
During the work, 23,746 units of ordnance were found in Khankendi, 5,159 in Agdara, and 46,752 in Khojaly.
