Landslide hits cemetery in Bibiheybat, damaging graves. Sabail District Executive Authority begins restoration work.

A landslide has occurred at a cemetery in the capital, damaging several graves.

The incident took place in Bibiheybat settlement, Sabail district.

According to relatives of the deceased, the landslide happened about two months ago, causing some tombstones to collapse.

Sabail District Executive Authority stated that heavy rainfall caused a landslide in a part of the cemetery.

Fences around damaged tombstones have been restored, and cleanup work has been carried out. Repair of the collapsed tombstones is ongoing.
