Among the residents returning to the Badara village of Khojaly district are young families.
They have started building a new life from scratch here.
Residents told Baku TV that they are now building their future on these lands, which they had only heard about from their parents for years.
"Only those who come and see can know how beautiful this place is. Our biggest dream was to return to our ancestral homeland. We have our own private farm and we work on it," said Badara resident Musa Ibadullayev, expressing his joy.
The little resident of Badara village also said she liked her new home: "This place is nice, I like it, but I won't go to school..."
