Residents of Mammadli settlement in Absheron district cannot use public transport due to poor road conditions.
A complaint to Oxu.Az hotline says that route bus No. 217 does not enter the village.
“Our daily transportation options are limited. The bus not entering the village creates serious difficulties, especially for the elderly, schoolchildren, and commuters,” the complaint states.
In response, BakuBus spokesperson Asmar Aliyeva said that due to unfavorable traffic conditions on the Mammadli road, temporary changes were made to route No. 217 to ensure passenger safety.
According to the updated scheme, buses starting from Koroglu metro station go straight along Kurdakhani road, turn around at the Pirshagi-Boyukshor circle, and enter Mammadli road via Pirshagi road. In the opposite direction, buses go to Yanardag wedding palace, then turn back and continue along Kurdakhani road.
Since road repairs are not under BakuBus’s jurisdiction, residents are advised to contact the relevant authority.
