Mark Kim: How I Learned Azerbaijani

Blogger Mark Kim was a guest on Baku TV's program "Qapqara".

He said he learned Azerbaijani in 2005 to play football with local kids: "I had to quickly learn the language to play football. First, I learned swear words, and after three months, I started speaking."

He also mentioned facing criticism in Baku for his clothing: "Elderly men scolded me for wearing shorts. Such issues are less common now."
