The master plan for the city of Khankendi is being developed. This statement was made by Elchin Yusubov, special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts, during an event at the Azerbaijan pavilion within WUF13.
He noted that after the project is completed, significant construction work will be observed in the city. According to the plan, Khankendi is envisioned as a modern city with a population of approximately 80,000.
The master plan also includes the development of green recreational areas in proportion to the city's population.
