The Ministry of Health has announced medical support preparations for the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

Inspections were conducted at medical facilities designated to provide healthcare during the event, including Baku Health Center, National Ophthalmology Center, Central Clinic, Liv Bona Dea, International Medical Centre, and Melhem Hospital.

Conditions, technical equipment, and staff readiness were assessed, and coordinators were appointed.

Additional facilities such as Yeni Klinika, Clinical Medical Center, Central Oil Workers Hospital, Mahammadi Modular Hospital, and Republican Emergency Medical Center are also involved.

Ministry staff have been assigned to coordinate on-site operations, and necessary medical equipment and supplies have been provided.

Medical stations will be staffed with doctors and nurses during the event. Regular disinfection will be carried out in crowded areas, and joint monitoring of catering establishments, hotels, and restaurants is planned.

WUF13 will take place in Baku from May 17-22, focusing on sustainable urban development.
