Medina Babayeva, who went missing during the occupation of Kalbajar in 1993, was buried in her native land 33 years later.
According to Oxu.Az, Medina Rahim gizi Babayeva, born in 1905, was buried in the Dashbulag village cemetery in Kalbajar.
The funeral was attended by relatives, villagers, families of martyrs, veterans, and state officials. Prayers were recited for her soul.
She went missing on March 31, 1993, during the occupation of Dashbulag village. Her remains were found through search and identification efforts by the State Commission.
