A meeting was held at the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan with a delegation led by the President of the Supreme Court of Kenya, Martha Koome.
Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan, Inam Karimov, welcomed the guests and noted the successful development of friendly relations between the two countries. He emphasized the mutual interest in expanding judicial-legal cooperation.
Detailed information was provided about judicial reforms, digitalization, and the 'Electronic Court' information system in Azerbaijan.
Martha Koome expressed gratitude for the warm reception and highly appreciated Azerbaijan's judicial reforms. She highlighted interest in studying Azerbaijan's modernization and court administration approaches.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Supreme Courts of Azerbaijan and Kenya. The memorandum aims to promote mutual experience exchange, enhance professional skills of judges and court staff, and strengthen bilateral relations.
Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Kenya, Sultan Hajiyev, also attended the meeting.
