Menu Madhav Maroju: Azerbaijan has formed good urban planning culture

Menu Madhav Maroju, trustee of the non-profit organization "Country Planning and Development Trust", told Oxu.Az that a very good urban planning culture has been formed in Azerbaijan.

He noted that the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) is a great platform to learn about different experiences in urban planning ecosystems. It allows to learn best practices and see how new approaches can be integrated for the future.

Maroju shared his observations: "Overall, everything looks quite neat. Planning processes are visible. Urban functioning clearly shows that a serious urban planning culture has developed in Azerbaijan."
