Military service term reduction: Official statement

Official statement on the reduction of military service term and paid military service in Azerbaijan. Major General Mursal Ibrahimov said the issue is not being discussed at present.

The reduction of military service term must first be coordinated with armed forces. This was stated by Major General Mursal Ibrahimov, head of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.

He noted that if military knowledge can be acquired in a shorter time, the issue could be discussed. However, it is not currently on the agenda. Paid military service is also not being implemented.
