Agriculture Minister Majnun Mammadov has announced new subsidies and soft loans under the new State Program.
The program covers 2026-2030 and includes agriculture, fisheries, and aquaculture. The goal is a shift to intensive production.
The minister noted successes in crop production but a lack of intensive livestock farms. The program is built on four pillars: resource efficiency, technology and innovation, market integration, and processing industry development.
Existing subsidies will be maintained, and new ones added. Soft loans, institutional reforms, digitalization, and AI application are also planned.
