Education Minister Emin Amrullayev has commented on teachers' salaries.
The minister stated that teacher salaries are not the lowest in the country and not all teachers earn 500 manats.
He said, "The teacher is not poor, but a professional," emphasizing that it is wrong for society to see teachers as poor.
Speaking at an event titled "Certification: Competent Teacher - Quality Education," the minister also noted that salary increases are tied to budget policy.
