"Before, there were teachers who couldn't correctly write the words 'teacher' or 'group' in an application. Now, such teachers no longer exist."
According to Oxu.Az, this was stated by the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, at an event on "Certification 2026: Competent Teacher - Quality Education."
The minister noted that under current legislation, teachers who score 50 points in the second cycle will receive a 10% salary increase.
"Discussions on the second phase of the certification process will continue. We need to write questions that neither suddenly eliminate 25% of teachers nor make it so easy that everyone scores high. We have many good teachers, and the number of weak ones is small. Now, the differences between our teachers are very small."
